Our mission is to care for, serve, and equip our church community with wisdom and love. We believe Jesus Christ sees, knows, and deeply cares about us and our struggles. Our method is grounded in Scripture and a Christ-centered worldview so we may help our members apply gospel realities to all of life. We offer formal counseling to those who struggle with or are overwhelmed by sin and suffering, and we also provide counseling education to our members so they may grow as agents of biblical change within our church. TO BRING BIBLICAL COUNSELING TO THE community We believe God chooses to work out gospel change within the context of the local church. Our goal is to support local church in the Queens County region to help raise up biblical counselors in their respective communities. WHAT WE DO FORMAL COUNSELING Biblical counseling is offered to all members and regular attenders of New Life Pres and is available free of charge. Formal biblical counseling includes a detailed intake process, a structured program of care, and ongoing follow-up through our church’s shepherding structure.
